*NOTE: The discoloration in the form of a circle in the lower part of the screen (visible in the photo) is used in protective glasses for technological reasons. This only applies to Samsung Ultra series phones. In place of the circle there is an ultrasonic fingerprint reader. In order to use it, an additional layer of glue must be applied in the place where it is located. This allows the sound wave to penetrate undisturbed during fingerprint detection. An alternative to tempered glass without a stain in the reader area is protective foil or hybrid glass.
Microfracture technology, 100% higher hardness of the glass edges
Our completely new MicroFracture technology is an additional processing of tempered glass that involves the removal of microscopic defects and microcracks that are not visible to the naked eye. This technology increases the edge strength of PanzerGlass™ UWF protective glass by over 100% without affecting other mechanical properties. In addition, thanks to the new technology, impact resistance and the safe fall height have been increased by 35%. The flexibility of the glass has also been improved by 17%.
The glass is covered with an oleophobic coating that prevents fingerprints and helps keep the phone screen clean. To facilitate application, PanzerGlass™ uses a unique layer of silicone adhesive that prevents the formation of air bubbles and other imperfections during installation. The adhesive layer is individually selected for each device model to ensure optimal functionality and durability of the solution.
